The 25-year-old telecoms account manager – who became the fifth candidate to be sent home during last night’s (04.11.15) episode – has confessed she knew as soon as she was called back into the boardroom by project manager Sam Curry that she would be given the sack.
The next day, the two teams must flog their masterpieces to industry experts and smaller stores, but a stumble over numbers leaves one candidate in their team’s bad books. Sam, you seem a very nice chap, a highly educated fellow, but I’m looking at you the person, I’m looking at your indecisiveness and so I’m struggling.
Selina has spoken out about the show several times in recent weeks, confirming she does not win the series and claiming to have “broken contract” by refusing to appear on spin-off show You’re Fired!.
She also said in an interview with Heat magazine: “I thought it was a credible business show, but I now can see that I was naive”.
“I had a dream that I got fired for being useless, and that’s kind of what happened the next day”, she recalled, adding: “I w oke up still in the house, but I was like: ‘Yeah I’m getting fired.’ I was ready for it”. “On this particular occasion….You’re Fired”. “I don’t think he really took that into consideration”.
A story that was slightly worrying since they weren’t totally convinced on the honey-making process, leaving Claude Littner unimpressed.
She explained: “I’d like to get a few more experience first. I definitely want to have my own business in future, but it’s something I’ll probably look to do in three, four years rather than now”.
