Natalie Dormer Knows You Think She Looks Like Denise, Kermit’s Girlfriend on

For Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) and Finn Jones (Loras Tyrell) they had a troublesome run in season five, and when it came to an end, we didn’t know their fate.

NYCC hosted a Game of Thrones panel and although I thought most of the moderator’s questions tended to be on the silly side we were able to experience a few nice moments and learn a little about how the actors see the show. One fan asked about her habits of doing long runs, to which she sadly admitted that she wouldn’t have time to run the New York City Marathon this year as she intended as a result of the Mockingjay Part 2 premiere.

But it was Jones who, in the end, stole the show with his bold and wild Season 6 predictions of characters that should meet.

The Game of Thrones star, who plays Margaery Tyrell on the hit fantasy drama, reveals she used to be teased as a child for her appearance, but Natalie has learned to take it all in her stride.

“I used to get told I had pig nostrils”.

So, you see, she’s not offended, because she already processed any possible jokes about her pig-like nose through a tossed-off line on her hit show.

“When I saw Kermit’s new girlfriend, I was like ‘Maybe I’m a bit responsible for that, ‘ ” Natalie told the crowd, according to Entertainment Weekly magazine. She did not elaborate on whether anything of that nature is taking place. “[Loras] should definitely be anxious”, Jones said.

Castle-Hughes also confirmed Obara Sand will be coming back in Season 6 and will be heavily involved in the plotline surrounding Myrcella’s (Nell Tiger Free) poisoning in last season’s finale.

During the panel, Dormer did dish on why Margery is such a threat to Cersei, “Dormer did share her theory on why she believes Margaery is such a threat – at least as far as Cersei’s concerned”.

“I think Loras would probably turn Jon Snow gay”, he said, to much applause.

While Finn initially said that the throne was crafted from Valyrian steel, GRRM wrote on his blog that the infamous throne was “made by blacksmiths hammering together half-melted, broken, twisted swords, wrenched from the hands of dead men or yielded up by defeated foes”. Seems reasonable. Let the fan fiction begin!
