Nathan Lane Marries Partner Of 18 Years Devlin Elliott

Broadway and big screen veteran Nathan Lane is embracing his newest role – as a married man. They stated “I do” on Tues.at NYC’s City Hall & had a little party bash afterwards.

The Tony-Award winning star of “The Producers“, “The Birdcage” and “Modern Family”, married Elliot – a playwright and producer – in an intimate ceremony on Tuesday, reports People magazine. Everyone seems to be extraordinarily comfortable, ‘ his representative told the location.

Lane talked about marrying Elliot during an interview with Joy Behar on Wednesday at New York’s 92nd Street Y. He was there to chat about his new children’s book, “Naughty Mabel”, co-written with Elliot. “Everyone is extremely happy”, his rep said.

The couple are now working together as creative collaborators on the book, which is based on their spoiled pet French bulldog Mabel.

Lane famously declared his sexual orientation in 1999 after the killing of 21-year-old Wyoming college student Matthew Shepard.

“I just assume a lot of people know”, Lane told The Advocate at the time.
