“NBA 2K17” is not due until September 20, but those who pre-order can start playing four days early via the Early Tip-Off Weekend. Another NBA 2K17 promo called the Prelude, which was released last week, provides fans a demo of the “NBA 2K17” MyPlayer and MyCareer features for free.

The other bundles, such as the Kobe Bryant Legend Edition, include all the standard items plus more digital content and physical items. GameStop even adds a bonus; for every pre-order National Basketball Association 2K17 purchase, you get a free pack of Mike and Ike and Hot Tamales candy for free.

GameStop will follow suit and open on the September 15 as well.

One advantage of getting the digital release is that you don’t have to go to a physical store and wait in line to get your copy. Best Buy and GameStop have started handing out copies while Xbox and PlayStation have already made the title available for download.

Previous trailers have shown things like the reality of the National Basketball Association arenas or have even previewed updated game modes such as MyPlayer.

“We’re thrilled to deliver an even more ambitious and authentic basketball experience in NBA 2K17”.
