Paul George will be on the cover of the most prominent National Basketball Association video game.

2K unveiled George’s game cover at an event on Wednesday.
There are rumors floating around that George, who is a free agent this year, may consider signing with Bryant’s team, the Los Angeles Lakers. With the ability to dominate the game on both ends of the floor, George certainly deserves to be named among the illustrious players, who’ve been here before. He made the All-Star team and was selected to the All-NBA third team. You want to be on the cover, you want to be the best.
“I have been playing National Basketball Association 2K as long as I can remember, and to be honoured as cover athlete of National Basketball Association 2K17 is a blessing and vote of confidence that my hard work on and off the court has paid off”, said Paul George.
Why “NBA 2k17” is a big deal? Recent 2K editions had Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose, LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant (twice) on their cover. Well, it now looks like George may have a larger role in the game than just helping out with a promo.

2K, however, clarified that The Black Mamba would only appear on the Legend Edition of the game, while George would be featured in a different cover. Last year’s installment of the game is one of the most successful serving of the “NBA 2k” series and, for sure, there’s a lot of pressure to make “NBA 2k17” even better.
