The Golden State Warriors won an 11th consecutive game Saturday night, beating the Nets 107-99 in overtime with Brooklyn left with only themselves to blame.
Brook Lopez had a chance to win the game at the buzzer in regulation but his wide open look in the paint off and in-bounds pass hit off the back rim. “It’s a heartbreaking loss”.
Iguodala proved the long-range hero over Curry, draining a 3-pointer at the other end to tie it. The Nets had the last shot, though, and it was a beauty.
Meanwhile, the sad Nets remain the sad Nets.
“Defensively, we did not compete and they were able to pretty much get their whole team in a rhythm”, interim coach Luke Walton said.
