According to the New York Post, the Fisher with his estranged wife, Gloria Govan, at her Los Angeles home. So much so that Barnes made a decision to have a nice long drive (95 miles, to be specific) from the Memphis Grizzlies training camp in Santa Barbara to Los Angeles.

Barnes and Fisher were teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers from 2010 through 2012.
Other sources told the Post that Govan would file a restraining order against Barnes.
Following the dustup, Barnes, 35, texted a pal that he had not only assaulted Fisher, 41, but also took revenge on Govan, one source said. But the charges were later dropped.
The National Basketball Association reportedly has heard about the incident and they are looking into it, according to Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. A source close to Fisher confirmed the fight yet said, “Matt came after Derek yet he only had a few scratches …” I was like, ‘What’s wrong, Carter?’ and he shook his head, ‘No.’ Then he lays his head down on the couch, puts a pillow in front of his face and says, ‘Mommy’s friend Derek is here’. The physical altercation happened when he found that that his estranged wife, Gloria Govan, and Fisher were romancing in the home they once shared.
“Personal and private matters are personal and private”, Fisher said (via Basketball Insiders reporter Tommy Beer) at a Wednesday afternoon press conference when asked about the incident.
Fisher did not comment on the incident following the Knicks preseason game in New York Wednesday night. However, if Govan has truly moved on with her life, it’s time for Barnes to let go and worry about business on the court.

The Grizzlies said in a statement, “We are aware and now gathering information regarding today’s report involving Matt Barnes”.
