National Basketball Association to have decision on possible Draymond Green suspension Monday

The league made a huge mistake, not suspending Draymond “crybaby” Green for his intentional actions in last night’s game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

And Green went 1 for 7 (6 points) and committed 6 turnovers of his own. “Draymond is going to have be very careful”, he warned reporters before Game 4. Lots of times, it turns out.

“I said, ‘Scott, how am I getting a Flagrant because my leg went in the air trying follow-through on a shot, to sell the call, ‘” Green recalled Monday.

But that unit is all about spreading the floor.to get Curry and Green more open space. He’s the sort of player that doesn’t mind being called a pest.

Oklahoma City won the game 133-105 to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Predictably and immediately, there was Twitter outrage because Twitter’s favorite thing is outrage.

While the punishment isn’t almost as punitive as Thunder fans may want or even in line with league precedent-Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dahntay Jones was suspended just the day before for taking a backhanded swing at the nether-regions of Toronto’s Bismack Biyombo-it is more significant than it may appear at first blush.

“Russell said I did it on goal”, Green said, “but he’s part of the superstar group that started all this acting in the National Basketball Association”.

Green is a starter, an elite defender for the Warriors.

Adams came up with the defensive rebound and assist for Andre Roberson’s sublime basket against Golden State Warriors.

DeMar DeRozan scored 14 points and Kyle Lowry had 13 for the Raptors, who were overwhelmed from the start. But for now, he plays on.

After the game ended, Green said that he did not mean to kick Adams below the belt on the controversial play.

This seemed like just more crazy-leggedness from Green.

Cleveland’s onslaught continued in the second quarter, and when James got free for an easy two-handed dunk, Cavs fans could relax and begin making TV viewing plans for Friday. I knew the league was going to let him play or fine him or I think upgrade him to a Flagrant 2.

Can the Warriors still win Game 4?

“Stuff like that happens all the time”, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. Ask the Thunder not to play Durant and Westbrook for a game or two?

Adams referred to Golden State players as “quick little monkeys” and was immediately slammed, later apologizing for his “poor choice of words”.

Of course, Jones is a fringe role player and nowhere near as essential to the Cavs as Green is to the Warriors.
