With a sweet victory in hand in front of the crowd that used to cheer him, Rex Ryan absolutely let loose.

This week’s edition of Thursday Night Football was an exciting one for NFL fans.
The 52-year-old coach spent six seasons at the helm of the Jets before being fired in January.
“You lose a game for a reason”, said head coach Todd Bowles.
“Every guy in this room has been dumped by a girl”.
“Hey, you move on and every now and then they call you back, ” he added. The Bills didn’t make it easy on themselves, but in the end, they got the job done and now have one of the two Wildcard spots in the AFC through 10 weeks of play.
In the same press conference, Ryan was asked what it was like for the Jets to fire him after four straight seasons out of the playoffs and a 4-12 finish last season.
In a game that would have made more sense had it been played on Christmas Day (the Buffalo Bills wore red uniforms while the NY Jets wore green uniforms), the Bills walked away with a lackluster 22-17 win over the home team.
“There’s always a part of you that says, ‘I’m going to show you you screwed up.’ I think that’s the way everyone is but nobody admits it”. “There’s a bad taste in my mouth right now, just how it all went”.
The “Rexception” before the game was tame, with some boos, a few cheers, nothing over the top. Of course, who knows what would have happened if those turnovers hadn’t happened, but the Jets defense did very well outside of a seven-play, 80-yard touchdown drive to start the third quarter.
He might have been wearing red, but tonight, he was the Grinch that stole this game. And the fans seemed to forget about him once the action began. The Jets quarterback has 1,983 passing yards this season, and has thrown 15 touchdowns to nine interceptions. Carpenter kicked a 47-yard field goal to make it 3-3.
Stacy was carted from the field after returning a kickoff on the final play of the first half against the Bills. Check. There were multiple times when it looked as if the defense was going to collapse after the Bills built a 22-3 lead in the third quarter. Eventually, the conversation turned to the New England Patriots. That woke up the crowd, and NY forced a three-and-out.
Bowles then chose to go for it again on fourth down rather than attempt a short field goal to get to within two points.

10/22/2012: Tom Brady completed 26 of 42 for 259 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots 29-26 win over the Jets. After the game, Decker said it should’ve been a walk-in touchdown. But Ryan’s defense held. “We’ll see how it goes, but that’s the intention”, said Fitzpatrick, via ESPN. Ryan said Williams was “sick as a dog” and needed an IV. Fitzpatrick is listed as questionable for the Jets’ Week 11 matchup against his former employer in the Houston Texans. Ivory ran for 99 yards.
