National Gas Price Now Averages $2.24
The US average retail price of regular gasoline decreased five cents from the previous week to $2.33 per gallon on September 21, $1.03 per gallon lower than the same time a year ago.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped for 40 consecutive days and 66 of the past 68, decreasing $1.116, including 2.2 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
