A defiant Congress vice-president had yesterday charged the BJP with adopting vendetta politics and vowed to continue questioning the government.

The Gandhis’ lawyer, Mr Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who is also a Congress spokesman, said they are willing to appear in court, but want more time.
During the hearing, senior counsel Ramesh Gupta told the magistrate that accused Sam Pitroda is presently in the United States and they will try their best to make sure he appears before the court on December 19. “The GST bill has gone for a sky walk”, Anand Sharma, the Congress party’s deputy leader in the upper house, told reporters.

He also alleged that while the Congress ministers and workers were booked, the law allowed BJP followers and leaders to go free. “Truth will come out”, Gandhi said. Congress is doing all it can to delay the GST Bill in Parliament.

Jaitley in a Facebok post said, “they have acquired properties worth a huge amount without spending anything”.
