However, the No. 1 class does not always beget championships. If Freeze lands 5-star defensive end Jeffery Simmons and 4-star safety Deontay Anderson, Ole Miss will stay in the top five. As it happens most often, a good majority of signings will happen in the morning hours, especially with those already committed.
