National Weather Service estimates likelihood of a tornado in Massachusetts Tuesday
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in State College for Adams County, northwestern York County and central Cumberland County. Movement was east at 30 miles per hour. Thunderstorms that could be severe are expected to move from Western to Eastern Massachusetts Tuesday hitting late in the afternoon into the evening. Localized flooding is possible. The NWS also says a significant amount of cloud-to-ground lightning is expected, and lighting can occur as far as 10 miles out around a storm.

People in the St. George area can expect sunny skies both days with highs near 105 degrees Sunday and 104 degrees Monday.
The National Weather Service said the heat index values could climb to as high as 101 in the Charleston area.
The low for Tuesday night is around 74 and the high for Wednesday is near 86.
