New York (89-70) enters the weekend with the inside track on home field advantage against the Dodgers in the Division playoffs which begins next Thursday. Washington is coming off a 3-0 victory over Atlanta on Thursday but has lost six in a row to the Mets.

He received no decision in his last start against the Phillies on Sunday, when he allowed two runs in five innings. He is 2-0 with a 1.53 ERA against the Mets this season. He’s been outstanding against the Nationals going 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 13 innings over two starts against them. The teams will play a day-night doubleheader Saturday.
