Naughty Dog Clarifies News on The Last Of Us Sequel
It looks like the words spoken in last week’s Naughty Dog livesteam may have been a simple error and not confirmation of a sequel to The Last of Us.

“All the facial animation in the Uncharted series was led up by Eric, here”, Scherr said during the live, “and [on] the first The Last of Us“. “I was like, ‘Oh, he knows more than we know [about] what we’re doing next.’ We joked about it afterwards during shoots and stuff”, he said.
“My main issue with having Joel and Ellie in The Last of Us 2 is that a continuation of their story would disrupt the balance of the first game”, Movie Pilot reported.
“I don’t know. That’s a good question”, he commented. Could it work? Let us know your thoughts below.
“Naughty Dog explored exactly what they wanted to with The Last of Us, their conclusion left things open in order for us to fill in the gaps”.
It appears that “The Last of Us 2” is now not undergoing development, but rumor has it that there will be a new update soon.
“It’s possible he won’t want to compromise that ending with a sequel”, the publication reported.
Naughty Dog fans will have something to play in 2016 though. Neil Druckmann says that the concept for a sequel was being talked about for some time, though that those ideas had to be put on the back burner to help finish the development of Uncharted 4.
With or without Joel and Ellie, The Last of Us 2 remains behind closed doors for now, though Naughty Dog fans will surely be looking to the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, primed to hit PS4 on March 18, 2016. It’s happening, but we have to wait for Uncharted 4 to come out to hear anymore news. “Blinders on, make this awesome”.
