Navas cried over failed Man United move
Navas was minutes away from leaving Madrid on August 31, with David De Gea supposed be moving the other way.

He added: “It was a complicated situation”.
For the first time in its 113-year history, Madrid hasn’t conceded a goal in its first five matches of the season, and Navas is a big reason for the success of the team’s defense so far.
But Navas, on Spanish radio last night, revealed that he broke down in tears on hearing that he would be able to stay at Real Madrid.
“Every day I’ve had to hear that we had to pay €10m for not signing De Gea and that’s a lie“, the Real Madrid president said, as quoted by AS.
“Of course [I suffered]”.
“I went to Barajas and waited in a small room with my wife”. There was nothing clear. Nothing was clear. I wasn’t calm until things were.
The ongoing goalkeeper saga between Real Madrid and Manchester United just never stops.
Navas concluded by insisting that Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world and that he’s glad he no longer has to face him in competition, only in training. Then I went to home. “They are moments that I hope never happen again, because they were not good”.
“It’s is not true that I got rid of Casillas, but I did make a mistake”. I always wanted to stay here.
“Some teammates were there”. He told me what I had to do.
Perez, however, has denied those reports.
“I do not put the blame on Mourinho”, he said. “If two shots come my way in a game, I have to stop them“.
“Who is the player I wouldn’t want to face?”

He does though seem back to his best, after making a string of fine saves in United’s 3-2 Premier League win at Southampton on Sunday.
