Navjot Sidhu floats a new party named Aawaaz-e-Punjab
The poster she has shared today features Mr Sidhu dressed all in black and flanked by former hockey great and his close friend Pargat Singh and an independent lawmaker from Ludhiana, Simarjit Singh Bains.

Ending all the speculations, Cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu on Friday has announced new front to fight next assembly election in Punjab.
“Along with Pargat Singh and Bains brothers, we have formed a front”, Navjot Kaur Sidhu said.
Sidhu, a former Lok Sabha MP, had resigned from Rajya Sabha seat last month.
Aam Aadmi Party’s state unit recently sacked chief Sucha Singh Chottepur, and its suspended Member of Parliament Dharamvir Gandhi are likely to join the front along with AAP and Akali Dal rebels.
The “Aawaaz-e-Punjab” poster says the front will “raise voice against those who have destroyed Punjab”.
The new party has been named “Awaaz-e-Punjab”. The move may hit Aam Aadmi Party ” s chances in the Assembly elections next year badly. “People are with us”. Simrarjit Singh Bains told ANI that “Aawaaz-e-Punjab” is a platform for people who have honesty in their hearts and want to serve the country and end corruption.
Reports said that the talks fell through as Sidhu wanted a package deal for his wife along with his nomination as the chief ministerial candidate. Didn’t put any pre-condition.
