Sidhu along with former Indian hockey skipper Pargat Singh is expected to launch “Awaaz-e-Punjab” in the state.

Sidhu said that in the next 15-20 days he will come out with the front’s future plan.

The AAP on it part wondered whether this was a conspiracy against the Chief Minister with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia questioning the reason behind the alleged lapse.
“The former MP from Amritsar was just issuing baseless and irrational statements just for the sake of scoring brownie points before media”, he said.

Sidhu’s team largely comprises of dissidents from SAD. This was a swipe at the Badals of the Shiromani Akali Dal, whose patriarch Sukhbir Singh Badal ruled the state in coalition with the BJP for quite some time.
