Putin voiced strong support for New Delhi’s aspirations to win a permanent seat at the U.N. Security Council, praising India’s “well-balanced and responsible foreign policy course”. The two countries have also committed to raising bilateral trade from $10 billion a year to $30 billion inside a decade.
Putin assured Modi of Moscow’s continuous help to build more nuclear power plants in India. Russian Federation has always been with us in hard times.
According to Putin, trade turnover between Russian Federation and India is sliding now, which is related to external factors, such as fluctuations of demand and volatility of currencies.
