Nawaz Sharif most corrupt in Pakistan: Imran

LAHORE: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan on Friday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accepted bribe from former al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden to topple Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s government in 90s.

On China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Khan said the Chinese initiative was meant for alleviating poverty from China’s underdeveloped Eastern parts by developing a link with Gawadar through the shortest possible sea route.

Imran Khan leads a campaign rally for NA-122 by-elections. Ayaz Sadiq expressed confidence of winning by-polls and said, the constituency was his stronghold and it will be proved once again as PML-N’s strong bastion. He said it was a responsibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan to make the election transparent and fair. He said that PML-N candidate Ayaz Sadiq never did anything for the area.

He said that people of the country, today, were experiencing the real change under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as the PM had fulfilled his all promises made during the campaign of election 2013.

He added the government was making all-out efforts to achieve its all targets including elimination of power outages, unemployment and terrorism, adding that this would help put the country on road to progress and prosperity.

Imran Khan said that the sun is setting on Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N). “We have a documentary proof of Imran Khan’s signatures acknowledging receipt of funds”, he added. Imran Khan said Hanif Abbasi, a PML-N leader whom PTI chairman defeated in general election of 2013, inflicted loss of Rs24 billion to the national exchequer thorough “Sasti Roti” scheme. The projects would be built at a savings of Rs110 billion, Sharif said.
