Polish archaeologists have unearthed a time capsule buried underneath concrete at a former Nazi training school in the north-west of the country.
The copper capsule was found September 6, 2016 in the northwestern town of Zlocieniec, Poland, in the remains of the foundations of a Nazi training center that was built there in 1934, when the town was in Germany and was called Falkenburg.
The capsule contained various documents and photographs of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
A Nazi time capsule dating back to 1934 has been discovered in northwestern Poland.
The contents of the cylinder included newspapers from April 1934, parchment, coins, photos of Adolf Hitler and two copies of his book, Mein Kampf, according to reports.
Archeologists had long known the artifact was buried at the location but had been unable to get to it until now. The capsule was buried when the Ordensburg Krossinsee building was being built and archaeologists had to fearless thick concrete, Nazi-planted mines and wade through water to make their way to the capsule.

The items are now at the National Museum in Szczecin, awaiting preservation before being publicly displayed.
