Draymond Green reportedly held a late lead over Leonard at last check, but a late push by both fans of large hands and They Who Will Not Be Named landed Kawhi Leonard in the starting five. This will be Curry’s third All-Star Game. A 68,000 swing in the final week of voting gave Leonard the spot.
As insult to injury, Green also was passed by Dallas Mavericks forward Zaza Pachulia and finished fifth.
Naturally, the most compelling comments in regards to the All-Star starter results came from Green and Curry themselves.

In the Eastern Conference, Cleveland’s LeBron James, Indiana’s Paul George and New York’s Carmeto Anthony will start in the frontcourt with Miami’s Dwyane Wade and Toronto’s Kyle Lowry starting in the backcourt.
