The series started off with over 6 million viewers, but has since dipped to around 3.7 million and a 1.0 rating.

Tim Kring had originally said that Heroes Reborn could come back in the form of multiple miniseries, as the premise lends itself to the introduction of new characters and new stories.

According to THR, Kring previously told them he had ideas with which he could continue the series, but Greenblatt revealed Kring had never told him that when pressed on the issue.

The series stars Cristine Rose (Angela Petrelli), Jack Coleman (who played the suspicious Noah Bennett), Masi Oka (who played space-time manipulator Hiro Nakamura in original “Heroes”), Jimmy Jean-Louis as The Haitian and Greg Grunberg as the telepathic detective Matt Parkman. “I feel confident that we can find more story to tell with some returning characters and new ones”.
