More than ten thousand Bristol people were registered on the hacking of extra-marital affair website Ashley Madison according to details leaked by hackers.

“I’m certainly not saying that there is no possibility that I created a profile”.
Using such a site has become increasingly risky. It added that law enforcement in both the U.S. and Canada is investigating and declined comment beyond its statement Tuesday that it was investigating the hackers’ claims.
The Associated Press wasn’t immediately able to determine the authenticity of the leaked files, although many analysts who have scanned the data believe they are genuine.
The Canadian Press has sorted through the data to find 76 credit-card transactions were made on DND computers involving 42 email addresses, and 25 transactions from the House of Commons using 13 email addresses. The privacy policy on Ashley Madison states the company treats “data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access” and uses “standard practices and technologies”, including firewalls and encryption, to help protect user data from prying eyes.
His son, Jason DeZwirek, owns 15 percent, and the family’s investment company, Icarus Investment Corp, holds another 10.8 percent, giving the DeZwireks and their related companies a 30.5 percent stake in Avid Life Media.
“In many cases, the users paid an additional fee for the website to remove all of their user data, only to discover that the information was left intact and exposed”, lawyer Ted Charney said.
The tech website said it was given a contact email address for the hackers, who call themselves the Impact Team, by an intermediary.
Few connecting from federal networks had listed government email accounts when subscribing.
The woman’s attorney, John Driscoll, didn’t know as of Wednesday afternoon if his client’s information was among the deluge released by the hackers. After news and gossip site Gawker said it had found proof he paid for an account with Ashley Madison, Josh Duggar released a statement admitting he had cheated on his wife.

“Regardless of the nature of the content, our customers, this company, and its employees are all exercising their legal and individual rights, and all deserve the ability to do so unhindered by outside interference, vigilantism, selective moralizing and judgment”, the company said. “We’re getting a lot of phone calls”. He wouldn’t speculate on how the courts might rule. Potential embarrassment probably isn’t enough to justify that, and such a request would likely draw strong opposition from defense lawyers, he says.
