NCAA investigating leaked tournament bracket
Their two-hour Selection Sunday show was spoiled when someone tweeted out a complete – and completely accurate – March Madness bracket before all the teams had been officially revealed on the broadcast.

Instead we sat around for two hours, and now the NCAA says they’re going to put resources towards investigating who leaked the bracket. In previous years, the show was an hour long, with the bracket reveal finishing up in a tidy 30 minutes. “Unfortunately, and regrettably, the bracket was revealed prior to our broadcast partners having the opportunity to finish unveiling it. We take this matter seriously and are looking into it”. Some teams waiting for their draw to be announced found out about their matchups early as news of the leaked bracket went viral. We get it. We all get it. What if I told you there was a way you could have one?
“Nothing’s secure, huh? That’s great”, Notre Dame coach Mike Brey said. That is so typical.
It’s not clear who posted the tweet, which was labeled “Spoiler alert”. The account used a Kansas logo as its avatar photo, with the name “Sarcastic” followed by a vulgar word.
Nearly every year, a new team debuts in the NCAA Tournament.
The process frustrated fans eager to see where their teams were headed.
If you didn’t think Vanderbilt should have been in the tournament, you could point to their 2-7 record against the RPI top 50, their 3-9 record in road games, or their three losses to teams outside the RPI top 100. Since the Hurricanes can’t play football anymore, Miami might as well become a basketball school like Duke and Kentucky. From the moment the dance gets underway, we should prepare ourselves for the inevitable: big-time scorers, clutch performances, and the inevitable “One Shining Moment”. With potential showdowns against IN and North Carolina looming, we can certainly understand why Kentucky coach John Calipari would be less than enthusiastic about his team’s situation. Virginia tries to play at a deliberate pace, while the Pirates were the highest scoring team in the MEAC. They also won 13 games on the road. “I’m happy for A&M”.
The easiest path to the Final Four, to me, looks like it belongs to Michigan State. The Jayhawks of Kansas were named the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament.
After watching FDU’s near-miss that Friday night in Dayton, Ohio, it seemed inevitable that a No. 1 would fall to a 16 in the Round of 64. “You take (Denzel) Valentine’s injury, he’s out”. “The committee controls everything….”
But Johnson left 0.8 seconds on the clock – just enough time for Jalen Adams to get off a three-quarter-length shot at the buzzer to force a fourth extra period.
LSU: Freshman Ben Simmons’ college career could be finished.
The NCAA Tournament is finally here! This is the third straight year Virginia has Michigan State in its region.

My dad pulled off a contest win a few years back and still finds time to crow about it to me and my co-workers, the ones who are supposed to know way more than he does about the field of 68.
