Jessica Alba broached the subject as she stood alongside and introduced teens who’ve been impacted by mass shootings such as those in Newton, Connecticut; Orlando, Florida; and San Bernardino, California.
Sunday night’s Teen Choice Awards wasn’t just laughs and jokes.
This year’s winners on hand to pick up their surfboard-shaped trophies included “Captain America” actor Chris Evans, “Neighbors 2” actress Chloe Grace Moretz, “The Flash” actor Grant Gustin, “Star Wars” actress Daisy Ridley and social media stars Cameron Dallas and the Dolan twins.
Of course this year’s nominees are Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump so John Cena and Victoria Justice went all out and dressed as the candidates.
While the majority of the audience for the Teen Choice Awards can not vote in the 2016 presidential election, they did make their voices heard. Here dance moves were on point, and she sure did look sexy.

Receiving a special honour was Justin Timberlake, who was presented with the first-ever Decade Award by basketball icon Kobe Bryant. It seems like just yesterday when we were blasting “Rock Your Body” and crying a river. Timberlake used the occasion to urge teens to make a difference in their communities. He continued, “I try to live my life working most closely with, making music with, and spending so much of my time with an wonderful group of people-male, female, gay, straight, every walk of life”.
