“He stopped them. He’s the reason that they left all the stuff they collected at the front door”, she said Thursday.

The four men escaped within 30 seconds – one of whom dramatically dives into the boot of the white SUV getaway vehicle.

“It’s disgusting”, the 45-year-old teacher said. “I was being very careful about their movements and how they were exiting”.

“Joe was alerted on his phone by our home security system that someone had broken in”.

“He knew something was wrong”, Allred-Mueller said, adding that the two were at work and their two children were at school.

The couple, who live in Summerlin, Las Vegas, shared the video on Facebook in a bid to catch the robbers, who struck just before 11am on Tuesday (November 10).

“This is my homeboy’s house”, said the man.

“I just couldn’t believe they were in our house”.

Writing on Facebook, Mrs Allred-Mueller: “We were robbed today”. They were found abandoned near the front door.

It’s unclear if police have made any arrests in the case.

Allred-Mueller said she hasn’t heard from detectives about any arrests.
