Neil: Norwich new boy Bamford worth over £10million
Norwich are closing in on a deal for Patrick Bamford.

Norwich could hand debuts to new loan signing Patrick Bamford and fellow recent recruit Timm Klose when they host Tottenham in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
Hiddink had previously hinted that he might keep Bamford at Stamford Bridge for the rest of the season, but the Dutchman believes a loan move will be of greater benefit.
Bamford spent the first half of this season on loan with Crystal Palace but failed to have an impact and subsequently returned to parent club Chelsea.
Canaries boss Alex Neil, who recently strengthened his front line with the signing of Steven Naismith from Everton, welcomed Bamford’s arrival at Carrow Road.
“I want him to integrate”.
Bamford scored 19 goals in the Championship for Middlesbrough last season and looks set to have a bright future in the game.
Gary O’Neil remains suspended while Jan Vertonghen (knee), Ryan Mason (ankle), Alex Pritchard (ankle) and Clinton N’Jie (knee) are all expected to miss out for Spurs – who are five points off league leaders Leicester City in fourth.
The in-form midfielder was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 4-1 FA Cup win at Colchester. We needed to get him up to speed and he is in a much better position now.

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino: “We know Norwich is a team that had 10 days to prepare for our game, but our mentality is good, we are strong and we need to compete”.
