Neither Paul Or Ringo Have Seen The New Beatles Documentary
Eight Days A Week – The Touring Years charts the Fab Four’s rise from gigging in The Cavern Club in their home city of Liverpool, to playing sellout concerts in the United States.

As evidenced by Starr’s tweet above, the night was indeed great.
Howard said that as well as receiving help from McCartney and Starr for the film, Lennon’s and Harrison’s widows, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, who attended the premiere, had also contributed to the project.
Ringo threw dozens of peace signs at the cameras as he was escorted to his auto, and continued to from the backseat, while his wife Barbara Bach, 69, giggled in the front seat.
Paul’s fashion designer daughter Stella McCartney was accompanied by her husband Alasdhair Willis, while other stars who attended the premiere included Madonna, Michael Keaton, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, Eric Clapton, Simon Pegg and Liam Gallagher.
It’s widely believed that the Beatles didn’t get truly serious until 1966. Now it’s just proved to be a very gratifying experience, and I’m already nostalgic for it… “But I like to think we made a little bit of a connection”.
Not only did the former bandmates launch themselves wholeheartedly into the promotion of the film, they even sat for interviews with Howard and featured in a live Facebook session, that McCartney enthusiastically tweeted about (above).

“We’re all excited, it is the first time for us too”, Starr told the crowd about seeing the documentary. Most crucially, they abandoned live performance, transitioning from mere flesh-and-blood figures on show at local baseball stadiums to mystical artistes who dispensed vibrant works from their studio laboratory in Swinging London.

Howard says he was surprised to learn that touring the U.S. South, the Beatles took a stand against segregation.
