Nemanja Matic praises the impact of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte

Wales full-back Neil Taylor is included in a Premier League squad for the first time this season following his extended post-Euro 2016 break and Jefferson Montero is available despite his late return from global duty with Ecuador.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte praised Diego Costa’s poise in the match against Swansea. So far this season the Blues have played three games and have won all three, and they will be aiming to maintain their 100% record.

But Guidolin takes comfort from the fact that Swansea beat several of the top sides last season, including a first Premier League win over Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium in April.

It’s been a flawless start for Chelsea under new manager Antonio Conte, though it’s fair to say that the fixtures have provided a gentle introduction to the Premier League.

“He is very, very good – he improves the teams he works with a lot”.

“I want to start scoring goals as soon as I can and I know I must score a lot to play for Spain again. If we keep up this team spirit, we will be a threat in the Premier League”.

It was a huge goal too for Swansea after two successive defeats, and Guidolin earned credit for switching away from his 3-5-1-1 system before halftime, as well as apologising to Welsh worldwide Neil Taylor, who was annoyed at being taken off to facilitate the tactical change. Swansea, however, will cherish a point in the circumstances and only time will tell whether Jenkins was right when he predicted this team can cause a few more upsets this season. It is similar to the way we played at Athletic Bilbao.

“It is hard to say something after this game because I think we played very well, especially in the first half when we dominate”.

“It is an important period when we hope to get more points and climb the table”. We had that spirit in some games, but we weren’t consistent.

“I don’t think people will forget about me here as the Premier League is the most watched league (in football)”. “He is nearly ready to play”.

Midfielder, Eden Hazard is certainly a player that has come back to form under Conte and the Swans will have to be at their best on Sunday to get anything out of the game.

The same can not be said for Chelsea, with Diego Costa expertly playing the role of pantomime villain to score twice and deny Guidolin’s side the most unlikely of victories.
