Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” arrived in New Delhi on Thursday for a three-day state visit to India.

The couple will stay in the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
This is Mr Prachanda’s first bilateral visit overseas after assuming office last month.
Prachanda is accompanied by wife Sita, Minister for Foreign Affairs Prakash Sharan Mahat, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak on his four-day visit.
Leading a jumbo delegation, PM Dahal had left for New Delhi this morning.
PM Dahal will return home on Sunday, September 18.
Similarly, Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Investment Board, Maha Prasad Adhikari, Joint-Secretary at the Water and Energy Commission, Madhav Belbase and Chief at the International Economic Cooperation Division under the Finance Ministry, Baikuntha Aryal, are joining the Nepali delegation.
India and Nepal are likely to discuss the Railway project.
Dahal made it clear in the parliament of Nepal that instead of signing new agreements with India, he would like to implement the old pacts signed between the two countries.
He would hold talks with Prime Minister Modi on September 16 and would call on President Pranab Mukherjee and other Indian ministers.

The Himalayan Times quoted Dahal’s Secretariat statement in which he said, “We should find a solution on it (Constitution implementation) after holding discussions at the political level…(But), India visit is a diplomatic issue to strengthen the bilateral ties”. He will call on President Pranab Mukherjee and also meet Cabinet members of the government.
