Netflix officially announces season 2 of Stranger Things

Okay, maybe I should slow down a bit. “There’s a lot we don’t know about the Upside Down at the end of season 1”. Or maybe I’m insane and everything will turn out fine. But as for what fans can expect for the next season, Entertainment Weekly, managed to get some details. Season two will take place over 9 episodes (compared to the first season’s 8) set in the fall of 1984, only a short while after season one, and series creators/writers Matt and Ross Duffer will return. No idea, ask them!

Netflix’s “Stranger Things” renewed for Season 2 in 2017.

The most watched Netflix series, “Stranger Things” will have its Season 2. The Duffers also teased four new main characters in the coming season. “We leave that up in the air”, he added.

I don’t think we ever thought anthology. Matt said that new episodes will venture a little bit outside the Hawkins, Indiana.

21 Laps will be producing alongside executive producers Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and the Duffer brothers.

We’ve already written our love letter to Season One, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what happened next.

Before the renewal was announced, the Duffer brothers also spoke at the Television Critics Association press tour, telling reporters that there’s more to the story and they hope they get to tell it. “I think if we extend it too much, it will have a very different feel”.

Another question, you see Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) disappeared after she faced the monster from the upside down world. “There’s a lot more mystery there to be solved.” says Ross.

The first Stranger Things season 2 teaser doesn’t have any footage – it’s really just a variation on the regular title sequence.
