School of Communication alumna Louis-Dreyfus won her sixth Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series award and her fifth in a row playing President Selina Meyer on HBO’s “Veep”.
Netflix recently received its very first award for TV writing at the 68th annual Emmy Awards last Sunday night through the works of Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang for their work on “Master of None”, a Netflix comedy original where Ansari portrays an aspiring actor. “This is other-izing with a capital O. He needs to be called out every chance we get for being one of most risky monsters to ever approach our lifetimes”, Soloway said.

The 81-year-old actress wasn’t in Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater to pick up her Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series accolade on Sunday night (09.18.16), prompting the host to joke he was going to put her prize in the “lost and found”.

Upon hearing Smith’s name called, Kimmel stormed the stage and took the statue from presenters Minnie Driver and Michael Weatherly.
