Well, he’s teaming with Sofia Coppola and pretty much every celebrity friend he’s ever made, for “A Very Murray Christmas”, which seems to be as much a holiday special as a big Bill Murray love fest.

So goes the storyline for Murray who plays himself in Netflix’s Sofia Coppola-directed A Very Murray Christmas, set at New York’s Carlyle Hotel.
Executive produced by Coppola, Glazer, Murray, Roman Coppola and Tony Hernandez, A Very Murray Christmas starts streaming December 4.

Bill Murray is no stranger to Christmas. The teaser trailers only gave us a few short glimpses of Murray being his own exceptional self in Coppola’s project, but this new, full trailer’s familiar holiday soundtrack and jokes are a bit disappointing (even though Murray makes everything better). Clooney’s attendance reassures Cera who asks Murray if he saw Monuments Men – a joke that Clooney overshadows Murray in the film – to which Murray replies “I was in it”. We have your first real look at the party as it gets underway, along with several photos.
