Netflix revives “Gilmore Girls” with four leads returning
There will be new episodes of 2000s favorite (and current Netflix favorite) Gilmore Girls on Netflix.

Graham’s first interview since the news appeared to back that up, explaining to TV Line that she hadn’t read all the scripts yet.
This is the latest USA series to return to the small screen following the likes of Heroes (revived as Heroes Reborn) and The X-Files, with original cast members David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.
The show’s revival has been confirmed by Netflix on Twitter, and also by one of the show’s main stars Lauren Graham.
Tech Times previously reported back in October 2015 that Netflix was considering a “Gilmore Girls” revival, but nothing was set in stone at that point.
Gilmore, which launched in 2000, ran for seven seasons and 153 episodes on The WB/CW, six of those under Sherman-Palladino before she exited following a contract dispute with the studio.
Perhaps the most famous television mother-daughter duo in television, Graham and Bledel will be playing Lorelai and Rory for the four 90-minute Netflix original movies. Amy is now able to finish, appropriately, properly and I think with great satisfaction, the show the way it should conclude. A Gilmore Girls reunion has been something the fans have been waiting years for, especially, because of the unsatisfying series finale in 2007.
“I know [them], but I’m not going to tell you what they are”.
Creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino are writing and directing all four episodes, so we’ll finally get a proper ending to the series that we didn’t get with the Palladino-less seventh and final season.
Netflix did not provide information about the premiere date, number of episodes or official title on Friday.

The all-new “Gilmore Girls” miniseries will include the original protagonists such as Lorelai, Rory, Emily, Luke and others, as well as some new characters.
