Netflix Scores Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids Film
Now, Demme is making his way into the pop world with a Justin Timberlake concert film which will be debuting on Netflix next month. Oscar-winning director Jonathan Demme collaborated with the “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” singer to direct the concert film. You’re in luck, then, because a concert documentary film on the tour, directed by Academy Award victor Jonathan Demme (Silence Of The Lambs, Philadelphia), is coming to Netflix. The film focuses on the final show of Timberlake’s tour to support The 20/20 Experience, which lasted for over two years.

The film is directed by Academy Award victor Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs, Neil Young: Heart of Gold) and produced by Emmy Award victor Gary Goetzman (Olive Kitteridge, Mamma Mia!). “Look to your right, look to your left”, he tells his fellow performers in a pep talk before a show.

Netflix made the announcement to press on Friday, just ahead of the film’s world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday. “That’s who this show is for”, the triple-threat said in the trailer.
