Netflix to give ‘Gilmore Girls’ Thanksgiving release
A Year in the Life is set in the present day, almost a decade after the end of the original Gilmore Girls in 2007, and returns to the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut.

Amy Schumer-approved? With plenty of new pop-culture fodder to propel its dialogue, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life’s first promo shows Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) bickering over whether the Inside Amy Schumer star’s lifestyle jibes with their own.
Netflix announced Wednesday that its highly anticipated revival will premiere globally on Thanksgiving weekend: November 25, at 3:01 a.m. A Year in the Life will consist of four 90-minute episodes, each covering a different season of the year.
No, concludes Rory, explaining: “Watersports”. And a brief clip shows that Luke’s and the Dragonfly Inn are still up-and-running, and so is Lorelei’s weird brain, as she and her daughter argue about whether Amy Schumer would like her.
“I’ve only done 2 water sports, and they took pictures of it both times. I promise I usually just lay there (sex too)”, the Trainwreck actress added.
We are officially counting down the days to November 25th, Netflix will be releasing the four-part revival just in time for winter!
“Look, it was my hope to put them out separately because I am 1,000, and I enjoy seeing it, walking away, having some coffee, a sandwich [before the next one]… and also because it’s such a journey and such a build to the last four words”.
The third installment follows Alain Passard of L’Arpege, Michel Troisgros of Maison Troisgros and Alexandre Couillon of La Marine as they discuss what inspires them and how it translates into their individual styles.

Though Rory picks up an iPhone (the first version of which was released a month and a half after the series finale) some things really haven’t changed.
