Network World.com: IPhone sales are about to explode
In 2014, the tech giant ordered around 70 to 80 million for its first large screen iPhones.

Apple seemingly did very well to increase the screen size on the phone, which before the iPhone 6, was 4 inches. Apple declined to comment.
Nevertheless, Apple has been releasing its iPhones on one of the Fridays in the month of September. Apple has already added this feature to the Apple Watch and MacBook laptop computer. The Journal said Apple is also expected to maintain the screen resolution.
The information about iPhone production orders comes from Apple’s suppliers. This time, though, Apple seems especially confident this time around that there is going to be huge demand for its product.
Apple is preparing for a larger initial production run of its next iPhone, people familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal. This can be used to enable new controls and gestures, such as a contextual menu that pops up on a hard press. The last year’s iPhone 6 became so thin that its rear camera protruded out of the back of the device. A “tock” is a smaller update on those designs, along with a software upgrade.

But some of the old trends also held water; iOS users proved to be freer with the wallet, spending an average of $115 per transaction on iPads and $82 on iPhones. The Taiwan-based contract maker started producing the older generation iPhone 5C model a year ago.
If Wistron is qualified for production, Hon Hai’s share of Apple’s iPhone orders is likely to be cut.
Apple looks set to continue its recent dominance of the Chinese smartphone market after a recently released report showed that 32% of Chinese middle class urban Android owners would be making the switch at some point this year.

The report says it will have a Force Touch screen and will come in new colour options.
