Nevada race tightens: A big test for Clinton

Michaelson acknowledges that the most recent matchup polling between Clinton or Sanders versus the leading Republican contenders show Sanders doing better.

A poll this week of likely Democratic primary voters in Tennessee found Hillary Clinton crushing Bernie Sanders in the Volunteer State, in large part because of a commanding lead among African-American voters.

The Clinton lead in the Super Tuesday states is overwhelmingly powered by support among African-American voters. Clinton led in that poll by 16 points in October with a 50 to 34 percent margin.

Meanwhile, both candidates maintained their demographic edges from New Hampshire and Iowa, with Clinton carrying women and Sanders staying popular with young voters. “Everything I’ve read says Yucca Mountain is not a effective or safe depository for nuclear waste and i don’t think we should re-look that”.

But a new poll shows that with just three days until the Silver State’s Democratic caucuses, Clinton and Sanders are locked in a virtual tie.

Secretary Clinton’s lead was highest when asked which candidate would be the best to handle foreign policy, with a 40 point lead over Sanders. For the left, it signals the support of a critical group: black voters.

On the other hand, Sanders has a stronghold on voters under age 55. The sample has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. “The former Florida governor polls best in the pack on ‘experience.'” Malloy said. If you’re wondering whether Donald Trump resisted the urge to kick Bush while he’s down, then welcome back from whatever cave you’ve been hiding in. NBC is reporting that is reversed and Clinton is spending more. He believes many non-white voters will be drawn to his message of fighting economic inequality as they get to know him. It’s not like he has much support to pledge.

From January 4 to February 12, Sanders’ campaign was covered for 32 minutes on the network newscasts – less than Clinton (36 minutes) and Trump (51 minutes), but more than Ted Cruz (26 minutes) and Rubio (nine minutes).

The results contrasted with those of a national poll conducted this week by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal that showed Trump dropping into a national dead heat with Cruz in the race for the Republican nomination for the November 8 election to succeed Democratic President Barack Obama.

While Trump’s support has remained static, Cruz has been on the upswing.
