According to consensus from Apple enthusiasts, the iPhone 7 is likely to new features such as it being water resistant and doing away with the headphone jack altogether for wireless music. There has been a furore over the previous year about rumours of Apple possibly removing the headphone jack from its next flagship phone. A move some would not consider an upgrade. Also, the advanced iPhone is likely to ditch the present 16GB variant and will come with 32GB entry model.
This year’s iPhone launch will be doubly important, as it represents the first major new handset to be revealed since sales of the iPhones started sliding.
However, past form, coupled with months of rumours, suggests that Apple will nearly certainly unveil a new iPhone, likely dubbed the iPhone 7 or iPhone 6SE. For the iPhone 5 in 2012, the company went for a subtle-as-a-brick-wall shadow of a giant five. The Apple Watch 2 is expected to retain the square design, improved processor and built-in Global Positioning System. There were rumors that the company would have upgrades before the holiday season past year, but this didn’t come to pass. Apple’s new version of the laptop could have an OLED touch bar, so it should be interesting.
