In line with the amount of possible product unveilings, Apple has gone out and rented the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, which seats around 7000 people.
“The reason we chose the name “6S” is that it sound like “success” (get it?)”.
“We’re super excited about the upcoming launch of your next iPhone, and have heard the rumours that you’re calling it the iPhone 6S”.
The agency has embarked a bit of a guerrilla marketing campaign of its own – asking Apple to please consider naming the device the iPhone 7.
It’s just under a week until the next iPhone unveiling, and anticipation is building as the market waits to see what new features and functions Apple will include in the latest models.
At WWDC 2015, Apple confirmed a number of new products including an iOS 9 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Siri will make herself your home-based concierge as well as an in-pocket assistant, and universal search will scan your disparate streaming apps for movies or TV shows you want to watch.

Apple is definitely not switching back to the old glass-on-glass technology for its iPhone 7, which is expected in 2016. Of course any changes to the size of the new iPhone will force consumers of the newest version to buy a new case, which has become a huge market that Apple has been fueling for quite a while now. Arcuri speculates that this could be because company would rather reduce the price of its current generation phones than release a new cheaper iPhone. Reportedly, iPhone 6S will start at €699 for the 16 GB variant. It would also help Apple catch up to the competition, considering phones such as the Galaxy S6 and OnePlus 2 both have 5-megapixel front cameras. Apple is also rumored to be adding a new color option for the new iPhones – a rose gold color phone. The company’s big event is in a matter of days, and the iPhone 6S has likely already been mass-produced so that it can be sold to the public toward the end of September.
