Now, the watch is being listed on Apple Malaysia’s website at RM 1229 and RM 1379 respectively. The GPS+Cellular variant will cost $499 in 16 markets initially. The Watch Series 4 will be available in some countries starting September 21, and global availability will follow later this year.

There are new finishes available – stainless and gold stainless – adding to the existing aluminum finishes anodized in silver, gold and space gray, and both new and old bands can be used with the new Watch. Similar to previous year, the aluminum case models will come in Gold, Space Gray and Silver variants. The user interface (UI) has also been redesigned. These include a Pure Platinum/Black Sport Band and a Summit White Sport Loop Band. We have seen multiple reports of how Apple Watch has alerted users of elevated heart in the past and with new models, Apple is making it even better.

Coming as a surprise to no one who eagerly scanned the countless leaks, today Apple revealed the fourth generation Apple Watch, which sticks with the wearable’s square-faced, minimalist form factor, but improves how much info can be squeezed on that tiny display, and the watch’s health-tracking capabilities. The back of the Series 4 will be made with black ceramic and sapphire, which will apparently allow radio waves to pass through it.
The Watch’s own heart is a new system-in-package (which Apple confusingly refers to as a “silicon-in-package” chip) called the S4. They’re more than 30 percent larger than previous versions, but with slimmer 40mm and 44mm profiles rather than 42mm and 46mm sizes. Finding a way to put more information on the display is a key skill here, and is going to entice more users by bringing more information from the wrist.
You might wonder why that’s good; well Apple noted the Apple Watch 4 can detect a fall, in case you trip and don’t realise it.
Apple watch now also supports ECG, which improves the heart rate monitoring using electrodes added to the back of the device. New complications from Qantas and LifeSum are also available as well as new meditative “Breathe” visualizations and live action watchfaces featuring elemental actions like vapor or flames. With watchOS 5, the pulse sensor will occasionally capture your heart rhythm and notify you of an irregular beat.
Apple said all the fitness data is encrypted on the device and on Cloud. It also send your location to the emergency contacts on your device.
