New ‘Arrow’ Spoilers: Atom Brandon Routh Returns After ‘Constantine’ Crossover
Check out the clip from “Lost Souls” below, along with The CW’s official description of the episode. Ray is physically lost, relying on the others to find him and save him from Damien Darhk. “Lost Souls” might be just what Dr. Palmer ordered. Do you remember how long you waited for him? Conklin brought Oliver to Baron Reiter, who let Oliver go. It turns out that he’s not interested in drugs at all but rather a “message from the ancients leading to a very special gift: a heart of water”. Sara is still finding her way after being resurrected and is dealing with the bloodlust from the Pit.

Not much is happening during the island flashbacks in this episode except that the jerk soldier working with Oliver is still being a jerk. While testing his miniaturization technology on his suit, a huge explosion leveled the top floor of his building but didn’t destroy him as everyone had assumed. As there is in fact such a spinoff scheduled to premiere in early 2016, it was only a matter of time before we would discover just what happened to save Ray from blowing himself into smithereens.
“That’s an aspect to their relationship where he gives her the motivation to do the hard thing, especially in terms of Ray Palmer, and he will be that friend she can go to and cry on and talk about stuff that’s going on with her and Oliver, or anything”, Kellum said of Curtis and Felicity’s fast friendship. Oliver asks, “How can you be so sure?” And so the mission begins, with Oliver on a roof, hiding from ghosts, only to step forward and then be knocked out by one and brought and chained up in front of Damien Darhk.
And just because the Arrow team was convinced Ray needed his own show doesn’t exactly make it true either. I mean Sara doesn’t say that’s why she wants to come, but we all know that’s the reason Arrow is doing it. In an ideal world, maybe someone at Arrow would then rethink that they didn’t need to commit to storylines and characters that make half the audience mad, and make a good deal of them believe that they represent sexism and stalking instead of heroism and a legitimate romantic option. What follows is one of the best action sequences in Arrow history. Darhk instructs the ghost to leave him and the Green Arrow alone, little does he know, that ghost was Diggle. Darhk tosses the vigilante’s weapons away and revels in the slow torture of the Emerald Archer. Apparently he was a bad guy, and Damien Darhk was involved in ordering the hit on him while in Afghanistan. He also proceeds to use his powers to wrap chains around the Green Arrow’s neck and suffocate him. He tells the rest of the team, “Package delivered”.
Along for the ride is Sara Lance, back in costume, and adjusting to actually walking around again. She’s spent a little quality time with Laurel and Quentin, but jumping back into battle is perhaps the closest thing to normal she can find at the moment. Before they could continue to make up, she is able to find Ray’s location and they have a full on conversation with him. Seems like the arrival of Ray is no concern for their relationship after all. By heading to a bar for a few club soda – where he meets none other than Donna, who has been kicked out of her daughter’s apartment so she can finish her fight with the man she hopes will be her future son-in-law.
Oliver leads the mercenaries back to where Constantine led him. But that’s not all!
Speaking of the Lazarus Pit, Thea has already related to Oliver that she has killed two people in order to satisfy her blood lust.
Honestly, I was not expecting an episode of this caliber at this point in the season.
So when he was told that he will be taking on the character again, he found it really a great opportunity.
Last week it was revealed that Ray Palmer is alive on CWTV’s Arrow. “You’re married, he’s straight”.
Tiny Ray Palmer in a Glass Cube is the new hot item this holiday season. Tater tots are always delicious; Ray Palmer was not.
