A fresh batch of previously-unreleased State Department emails are raising new questions about the relationship between the Clinton Foundation and the State Department during the years Hillary Clinton served as Secretary of State.

“The disconnect between these new revelations and her sworn testimony suggests Mills gave a misleading account under oath to hide an attempted cover up of Clinton’s reckless email arrangement”, Short said in an email to ABC News.
Several months ago, FBI and Justice Department officials met to discuss opening a criminal investigation into potential public corruption at the Clinton Foundation, CNN reported Thursday, citing “a US official”. The Justice Department had looked into whether it should open a case on the foundation a year prior and found it didn’t have sufficient evidence to do so.

Comey reiterated before a hearing in July that they “did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues meant to violate laws governing the handling of classified information”.
