New Battlefield Game Is Coming Next Year

These battles are made up of 10 players per team, creating some dynamic, entertaining opportunities for competitive gameplay.

There are several weapon pickups strewn across each map in Blast – I wonder if there will be a hidden lightsabre! Blast will host 10-minute matches, by then whichever team is ahead, will win.

Star Wars is a ridiculously popular franchise. There won’t be space battles, though. For example, Hoth and Endor are playable areas in the game.

The two other modes shown off so far are Walker Assault (attack or defend an AT-AT attacking a Rebel position) and Mission (split-screen co-op survival mode). Thanks to that deal, the first Star Wars movie to be released in a decade is generating massive excitement.

DICE created smaller, close quarters maps for Blast Mode. When the same maps are used, there are lighting differences. We have a new Battlefield experience coming in Q3 FY 2017 and another new Star Wars project being led by the dynamic creative team of Jade Raymond and Amy Hennig. Battlefield: Hardline was also labeled as the best-selling title in the UK in 2015 as of March 23, 2015, whereas in the US, NPD Group announced the game to be as the best-selling game in March.
