New Captain America: Civil War Hasbro Toys Revealed
Nothing, as it was revealed in an interview by Marvel.com with Nick Spencer and Jesus Saiz, the creative team working on the upcoming Captain America: Steve Roger comic book series.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: STEVE ROGERS and CAPTAIN AMERICA: SAM WILSON will act as great counter-points to one another. “It means we’ll have two Captain Americas”, Spencer states matter-of-factly.
Priced at about $20 each, Civil War tie-ins will arrive in March, allowing kids (and probably a few adults) plenty of time to choose sides. This time, his protégé Sam Wilson, once the Falcon, took over, and now stars in the ongoing Captain America: Sam Wilson comic. It will be written by Nick Spencer (Sam Wilson: Captain America) and drawn by Jesus Saiz (Swamp Thing).
However, this spring, Sam Wilson will no longer be the sole Captain America of the Marvel comic book universe, because Steve Rogers will be making a glorious return as Captain America. A lot of people are disappointed that the “real”, white Cap will push aside the more diverse one, but let’s face it, comics have always spun off whole families of characters, from Superman, Superboy and so on to the Marvel Family of Shazam. On the other hand, Marvel’s big name heroes nearly always come back. And Marvel is bringing a second all-new title to comic shops this year! That Hashtag Show also claims that the movie will both open and close with funeral scenes, the latter which will be of Steve Rogers.

So, how did we get here? In addition to the new threads, Rogers will wield a new, high-tech variation on his shield. Now, a certain segment of the population-we’re obviously talking about Marvel fans here-had begun to resign itself to waiting as the same old (male) molds were filled anew with plastic (or whatever toys are made of these days) whenever a new movie was released. Thankfully, he’s not replacing Sam Wilson, because that would kind of be a bad look. First appearing in Captain America Comics #1 in 1941, created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, he was elevated to “peak human perfection” thanks to a mysterious Super-Soldier Serum and exposure to “vita-rays”, and survived into the present day to take on leadership of the Avengers.
