New Cruz ad hits Trump’s character, accuses him of ‘sleaze’
Trump was projected the Republican victor shortly after the polls closed.

A new ad from the Ted Cruz campaign takes aim at fellow Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in a unique fashion, pretending to be an ad for a Trump action figure.
The win gives validation to Trump’s no-longer-surprising power in the GOP field, and erases the question of whether he can get voters to the polls – though it’s still unclear whether he can build a ground game as strong as other well-funded candidates.
The Trump campaign may use the ad against Cruz in the future, CNN noted.
“How can Ted Cruz be an Evangelical Christian when he lies so much and is so dishonest?” he tweeted.
At a campaign rally in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Thursday night, Trump said the ad was “so false”.
The new spot is the latest in a flurry of recent political attacks that Trump and Cruz have levied at one another as they’ve battled in the early states.
“I’m going to take your house with eminent domain and park my limos there!” the kid says as Trump.
Of course, Senator Cruz would likely point out that he was only quoting Mr Trump’s own words on the matter, given Trump has indeed claimed to support equal marriage in the past.

But the new ad that’s being rolled out this week uses the issue to deliver a hard punch to Trump’s character and ethical values, less than ten days out from the SC contest.
