Symptoms show up three to seven days after an infected mosquito’s bite and can include fever, rash, joint pain, red eyes, muscle pain or headache. However, another mosquito capable of transmitting Zika, the Asian Tiger Mosquito, has been trapped in several CT towns this summer.
