New devices allegedly going on sale March 18

Now new speculations have come out that the 4-inch smart phone, with its latest name of iPhone 5se, will be on sale on March 18 together with another new Apple product, the iPad Air 3. If reports are correct, the next iPhone will sit at the very bottom of the iPhone range, and Apple is hoping it’ll appeal to customers who prefer a smaller screen. If that wasn’t enough, the bug – which many are calling the date bug – can kill more than just your iPhone. Another rumor involves its release date.

The latest iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus come in four colours: Silver, Gold, Space Grey, and a new Rose Gold Aluminium finish. It claims that this business strategy is new for Apple, as it has always practiced having at least one or two months in between a launch date and actual release in the market. According to 9to5Mac, the absence of pre-orders and the trend of releasing devices shortly after being unveiled is a new strategy. The iPhone maker says it’ll release an upcoming software update to fix this bug and prevent it from happening in the future. It did note that this might still change.

We can also expect the iPhone 5SE to feature the same A8 and M8 processors seen inside the iPhone 6, an NFC chip for Apple Pay, Bluetooth 4.2, VoLTE, 802.11ac WiFi, and 8MP and 1.2MP cameras complete with autofocus, support for larger panoramic images and the Live Photos feature that debuted on the iPhone 6S.

A new iPad Air is also reported to be set for launch on March 15 as the company tries to revive slumping sales of its tablets.

The iPad Air 3, which is rumored to be launching on the same day, is said to feature a 9.7-inch display and have a thickness of only 5mm.

Apple still hasn’t officially announced the March 15 event, where it’s also said to be revealing new Apple Watch models, but it will probably confirm the date after Mobile World Conference finishes next week.
