New doctor note describes Trump’s health as “excellent”

“If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”, Dr. Harold N. Bornstein, Trump’s doctor, wrote in the final paragraph of the medical report, which was dated December 4 but not released until Monday, according to New York Times.

Also on Thursday, Trump released a letter from his doctor summarizing his latest physical examination. “They’ve let her slide on every indiscrepancy, on every lie, on every DNC game trying to get Bernie Sanders out of the thing”, the 38-year-old said. Today the Trump campaign released a doctor’s note saying Trump is in excellent health. During the interview, Mr. Trump said he backs the use of Medicaid to help provide health coverage for those who can’t afford to purchase plans from private health insurers, according to the article.

“I guess that’s a form of exercise”, he told Dr. Mehmet Oz. “I just don’t think you can do the work if you’re not healthy”, he said.

“I saw what was going on with her and I said, “You know, I’m going to go do something” and I actually took a physical last week and probably, I guess this week, will release the results of it”, the Republican presidential nominee told CNBC Monday.

Mr Trump had avoided referring to Mrs Clinton’s medical problems but on Wednesday night made a veiled attack on her health.

The more comprehensive release from Trump comes a day after his rival Hillary Clinton released a letter from her doctor explaining her recent health history.

“If they were bad, I would say, ‘let’s sort of skip this, right?'” Trump said. “I think I could lose a little weight”, Trump shared.

If that wasn’t eye-opening (or -closing) enough for you, there’s always Dr. Oz and Trump discussing the presidential candidate’s favorite uber-masculine word: stamina. It took several hours for her personal physician to disclose she had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier, raising tough questions about her campaign’s transparency.
